CAPS works to provide opportunities for our children to showcase their talents in programs such as our annual high school art show, public education celebration and reading events. We also provide opportunities for members of our community to learn more about these trends by hosting town meetings and legislative roundtables with the political leaders whose voices shape education legislation in our districts, counties, state and nation.

February 7-28, 2010 -- 23rd Annual "Touch the Future" Art Exhibit 

WHERE: Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts, 311 West Main Street, Lansdale, PA. For directions, please visit www.lansdalecpa.org.

WHEN: Exhibit is open to the public through Sunday, Feb. 28, free-of-charge, during gallery hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

March 16, 2010 -- Pennsbury High School Choral Department & Guests Present the “REQUIEM” of Gabriel Faure in a Special Benefit Concert

WHERE:
Pennsbury High School East Campus Auditorium – 705 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, Pa.

WHEN: 8:00 p.m.

WHAT: The Pennsbury HS Choral Department, along with several other guest choirs/singers will perform the "REQUIEM" of Gabriel Faure in a special benefit concert. All monies will be sent to Haiti to help earthquake survivors. All seats are $20 and tickets are available at the door - or from the PHS Choral Dept. Over 250+ singers will perform along with guest instrumentalists who are all donating their time and service to this concert. Grafton Piano and Organ Company has donated the Allen Digital organ for the concert. Mrs. Robin Park Campbell, a 1988 PHS graduate and resident of Fairless Hills, was in Haiti on a humanitarian aid trip when the earthquake struck, and will speak at the beginning of the concert. Joining forces with the PHS Choirs will be singers from the Pennsbury Community Chorus, and singers from various church and community choruses in both Bucks County, PA and Mercer County, NJ. Members of the PHS National Junior Honor Society and Student Council are also helping in concert preparations.


March 27 -- Second Annual Pennsbury Elementary Choral Festival

WHERE:
Pennsbury High School West Choral/Ensemble room - 608 S. Olds. Blvd., Fairless Hills, Pa.

WHEN: 2:30 p.m.

WHAT: The 2nd Annual Pennsbury Elementary Choral Festival will feature a choir of 100+ young voices from across the entire Pennsbury School District. Singers will come together to work with guest conductor Mrs. Michelle Alford - who directs the Hopewell Valley Children's Chorus in NJ. The event is free and open to the public.


April 21, 2010 -- Montgomery County Annual Art Show Gallery Night
